District Goals 2008-2009

GOAL #1
To raise the level of student proficiency as it relates to state standardized mandated testing by 5%.

GOAL #2
To reduce the use of substitute teachers district wide by 10%.

GOAL #3
To raise the level of community awareness as it relates to the Irvington Public Schools.

GOAL #4
To monitor the student outcomes as it relates to grade level distribution and state testing.

GOAL #5
To ensure the appropriate, requisite, and ample instruction materials/supplies which support student learning.

GOAL #6
To work towards the improvement of the (exterior) physical condition of our buildings by 25%.

GOAL #7
To continue to develop strategies that will encourage the continuous enrollment of our Irvington students.
